Editing almost finished…
Editor’s comments so far:
‘Once again – everything works. Every. Thing.
Pace, plot, character actions and dialogue, narrative POV voice, structure, tension, all carried off to perfection with sublime imagery.
Am.
Impressed.’
So I’m cautiously optimistic but holding breath anyway…
Do you know when it will be published on kindle, Prue? I am really hoping to have it loaded in time for my holiday on the 9th…
It won’t be published by the 9th, sadly, Bollyknickers. I am so sorry.
I thought i was being optimistic! Never mind, it will be something to look forward to me when i get home.
If there is a chance, I will shout out loud!
Great news, Prue! I’ve shared and tweeted for you.
Thank you so much Gerry. And may I wish you all the best with http://www.amazon.co.uk/Angel-Belfast-thriller-thrillers-ebook/dp/B00DNL5VDE
Well done Prue! Very pleased for you – just revel in it 🙂
Oh thank you, Phillipa, I will. Because he made me work VERY VERY HARD on a re-write of two chapters that he disliked intensely. So praise from him is praise indeed.
Such a great cover!
Isn’t it though, Anne? Thank you. The designer is currently re-badging The Stumpwork Robe and The Last Stitch so that the entire Chronicles of Eirie will stand as a matched set. I can’t WAIT to see what she comes up with as she’s very bespoke and tries very hard not to use stock images and photoshop.
If it weren’t for stock images and Photoshop, I would be reduced to finger painting.
Many congratulations, Prue. 🙂
How gratifying to receive such fulsome compliments from your editor, after all your hard work. Something tells me they were richly deserved.
I await publication with bated breath, Kindle at the ready.
Thank you Giselle. What I want to hear ultimately, is that those fans of the original Gisborne are content with the outcome and that they believe in the alternative history I have written for the Guy of Gisborne legend. It would be wonderful to think that The Gisborne Saga had its own army of supporters!
Oh Prue I am so looking forward to this as you know I loved your first Gisborne book and I know I will love this next one. What’s not to love anyway? This is Guy for goodness sake.
As you say, AJ, THIS is Guy. What do you think the Army will say? I often wonder if people hate the legend of Gisborne being turned on its head.
