Tough week…
Been a pretty tough week in my neck of the woods this week. So what sustains me?
The dogs…
The garden.
The beach.
More beach.
And more beach still.
My family. (who hate being photographed for social media – but trust me, they are very real and very loved and loving)
My embroidery.
My writing.
And time spent each day in quiet meditation.
The beach, the garden, the dogs, looks like home to me. I will trade the needlework for some woodworking and those pics of the beach? OUTSTANDING, just like a pic from National Geographic.
Jim, thank you so much. And I apologise profusely for not getting back to you about the very special issue of the Microbibliophile with mention of my collaboration with Patricia Sweet. It’s been a very busy, and involved summer. Do take care.
Don’t have the beach (just cold and snow) and not writing but my reading and we are simpatico. It’s really so simple, isn’t it? Big hug Pru…
Annie – thank you. This is going to be such an strange week. Filled with sadness on the one hand, with my cousin’s funeral on Monday, then a private family memorial on Wednesday and then excitement with the kitchen and laundry being installed in our new little home on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. It seems very out of balance but we will make the best of it as we can. Thanks for the hugs – I can feel them from here…
PS: Tobias is being very understanding and is happy to have a mere 200-300 words written about him at night.
