Gisborne cont’d…
As we in Australia move into Easter Thursday, my novel’s main character and I would like to wish you all a safe and happy Easter break. I’m off to write more Gisborne and walk the beaches. And Gisborne? That’d be telling!

I have heard of the Chocolate Soldier, Lady mesmered, but a Chocolate Henchman?
Wishing you both, and everybody else, a very happy holiday.
The voice has always reminded me of two things: velvet and chocolate. So in some respects it fits.
By the way, Giselle, Bo Press was asking about Death Rolls from the troubadours yesterday and I truly can see another book/box containing a scroll or similar bubbling away amongst the studio’s
future designs.
Cheers and fond wishes to you.
Quit reading my mind!
I absolutely love this picture, Prue. Two of my very favourite things together – it doesn’t get much better.
Have a lovely Easter yourself!!
@Pat: ha!!
@nikalee I can see a photocopy above your desk!
At morning I rise, include the laptop,I come here, and what I see?!
Gisborne with egg!
Super picture, it has cheered me up since morning. 🙂
Glad you liked it, Fennena, have a good Easter.
I wish you to spend too pleasantly easter holidays 🙂
Happy Easter everyone!
mesmered, thanks for cheering me up with a Choccy Gizzy – Yummy!! Yes, that goes for both the man and the egg 😉
A pleasure, IngeD3. Pretty ‘tasteful’ !
Happy Easter to you all! I am on a diet right now, and I can do without chocolate, but I definitely cannot do without daily RA/Guy stuff (audiobooks, fanfiction, photos, videos).
Ciao!
Hello Lady Cassia… look on this as Mesmered’s way of helping everyone diet. Just stare at the pic and enjoy the seratonin… same as eating chocolate!
Very nice picture, its great as it is, but with that clever addition, it’s made Guy even more….appealing!
I’m sad there wont be anymore postings of Gisbourne on your blog, but I wish you all the best with finishing it and getting it published into an e-book. I’m sure you’ll let us all know when that is!
I remember you mentioning another book you wrote that includes two very unlikely lovers and a man who resembles Guy (now how is that possible, Prue?) called “A Thousand Glass Flowers”. Are you still planning on posting that here? It sounds interesting and since I have thoroughly enjoyed reading Gisbourne, I’m sure this story would be just as good!
Have a great holiday everyone!
Hello yelloweeee,
Happy Easter… it feels odd for me as well, not having anymore of the Gisborne story on the blog. But it was time to pull it back and began the serious writing that is required to get it beyond first (and very rough) draft stage.
As to A Thousand Glass Flowers, I will put the first two chapters up over the Easter break. It may be unillustrated, unlike Gisborne, so it will be interesting to see what happens to its audience/readership. I’m hoping people will read it and think beyond the ‘eye candy’ that’s existed in the past. The most important thing for a writer is to get review/feedback as they write in order to refine something and I’ve got a lot of faith in people like yourself that I’ve met over Gisborne’s journey. Cheers!
Living here in predominantly Muslim West Africa I was kinda hoping I’d escape Easter this year, but no such luck…
But at least chocolate eggs are an impossibility in these sweltering temperatures.
Hello Mark. I can see that chocolate and Easter have little relevance where you are and it’s as it should be. The world’s a big place and capable of sustaining everything. But do you ever crave chocolate? For me, writing and chocolate are bosom buddies!
Goodluck with ‘Sugar and Spice’ over the holiday. A well-earned ranking and may it continue!
Would love to walk along the beach with Gisb…ehm you, Prue. What a lovely talk and walk could that be? Enjoy your Easter time! Hugs. MG
MG, you are funny! Glad you suddenly remembered it was me you were talking to on the beach and not Gisborne. Maybe he can hover, quietly, at our shoulder. Easter greetings to you, too.
