Matchbox gardens…
I’ve been privileged to walk through some very beautiful northern hemisphere gardens through this last northern summer via some wonderful garden blogs. It’s the kind of thing that sustains one through our own southern winter.
But we’re now well into spring. Daylight saving begins next week, and my little garden (only 3 and 3/4’s years old and which we built and grew from scratch) is starting to come into its own.
So for those who love tree and leaf, this is my garden today:
All those who garden will know what the plants are. From aquilegias to magnolia grandifloras, lamium and dicentra, and pyrus and fern. I just leave you with the images on a wonderful day.
No more words…
Garden is looking stunning. An area of calm. Life always seems better after an hour or so in the garden x
Totally, Libby. It’s so peaceful and being so tiny and with raised beds (for the advancing old age), it takes very little maintenance. Wraps around like a soft little white cloud.
What a beautiful garden. I love spring and the way the gardens jump to life again.
Me too Catherine. I think gardening and gardens give one such hope. Seasons keep coming round and there’s always something to look at and do in the garden. I’m a bit of a tragic, I’m afraid!
