Washed Up…
What do you do on a day when the sky and the sea are oyster and pewter coloured and the air is placid with no seawinds.
You walk.
And you find all sorts of shells or remnants thereof.
And sag roots that form tumbleweed.
And roots that have been worn to smoothness in storms.
Or twisted and turned to create sculptures worthy of the seashore.
You watch the tide ebb, leaving trails of creamy white cappuccino froth behind.
And then you see this … and wonder what it is…
You wander closer and see that it’s a sea leopard that’s dragged itself onto the sand for a rest.
He smiles…
Then closes his eyes and goes back to sleep.
Because that’s what you do on a day when the sky and the sea are oyster and pewter coloured and the air is placid…
Bravo!
Thanks, Tigers68
