Chanel No. 5…
I love Chanel No.5.
I really do.
It is my favourite perfume of all.
But…
Brad Pitt to advertise it?
Nooooo!
I can think of any number of men who would encourage me to buy it so much more than the inestimable Mr.Pitt.
Why not Harry Kennedy.
Or John Thornton.
Or Guy of Gisborne. (my own personal predilection)
Or Lucas North.
Or John Porter.
Or even Thorin Oakenshield.
I tell you, everyone of them speaks to me.
Do they speak to you?
Sure the do!! Can’t imagine my reaction to a perfume advertised by RA!!
Love your enthusiasm. Should we go on strike and not buy any Chanel No. 5 until said RA advertises it?
I so totally agree with you! Those commercials just baffle me. I do agree Sir Guy would be perfect. My own personal preference would be George Clooney. Or maybe Pierce Brosnan. A sophisticated man, not a pretty boy.
Pierce Brosnan! Yes!!!! And appealing to my demographic!
Amen! I don’t get the big deal about Brad Pitt. I’ve never really thought he was attractive (except for in Thelma & Louise).
Mr.Pitt’s fine. Just better if he doesn’t advertise Chanel No 5…
I’m with you! I would buy whatever Richard Armitage was the spokesperson for!
Added a new pic, Phylly3. Felt I just had to. At the top of the blog post!
I see! They look good together! 🙂
Cheeky! (But I totally agree) 🙂
😉
What a great idea!!!!
I’m sure I’m not the first to think of it, Herba.
A parfum with an advertise with Richard…. woooow, that would be great ! 😉
Sounds rather gorgeous, doesn’t it!
Oh yes, it does… swoon…
A more interesting question would be ” What cologne would each of these characters wear?” Must think on this.
Oooh, another blog post perhaps. And you being the queen of perfume history, I absolutely request that you guest blog and list the colognes you feel these men should wear! No excuses, you have to do this!
Challenge accepted!
Well, since Chanel has already committed to Mr. Pitt to pitch No. 5 (and I agree he was not a great choice), maybe Richard could pitch my favorite, the underappreciated No. 19. Light mossy undertones reminiscent of Sherwood Forest!
