vvb32 . . .
I love attending blog events and in the short time I’ve been a part of the blog world, I have found the absolute doyen of such things. Her name is vvb32 and what drew me to her initially were the most consummate affairs from elegant balls at Pemberley, through picnics with Mr.Knightly, to events with vampires. These events are well-planned throughout and everyone gets so much involvement, so much fun. The management and creative mind that goes into them is awe-inspiring. It was vvb32‘s Pemberley Ball that prompted me to decide on my own Masked Ball and when I realised I didn’t have the skill or knowledge of someone like Velvet, that’s when I begged Pat and Rebecca to help me.

Vvb32 has kindly asked me to participate as a writer of things Other, along with other writers in the same genre and she’s featuring The Stumpwork Robe and The Last Stitch.

She has given me a list of creative duties, one of which is to write a short piece of fan-fiction based on one of the characters in the books. So for those that have read them and might care to comment: tell me which character you would like a piece of fan-fict on and why.

Sorry, my fault. It should be flash-fiction, but either way, I’ve already written the story and its hard to re-write a new plot. But its a challenge and I’m up for it.

I feel with a post on Bruges honor bound to attend. It’s not my hometown, still a place I’ve often visited and spend a whole week last year in a house by a canal. The perfect reason to read the stumpwork robe! Who carries it in the US and is there an e-format?
No e-format although about to consider both The Stumpwork Robe and its sequel, The Last Stitch, for sale as e-books, but it will be maybe the end of this year. They can be purchased through any of the on-line sellers like Amazon.com or Barnes and Noble and even some of the smaller ones.

I would have bought them straight away when I checked the kindle app after you came up straight away on Amazon. Here is me hoping for sooner rather than later?
The file for both books is currently a PDF and has to be converted back to word to be acceptable for e-book. The old word docs I have of the novels bear no resemblance to the final PDF that is held by the publishers and myself. Conversion back to word electronically requires a re-edit and format. The process is actually quite big and time-consuming and as I still have obligations with Paperweights to get it publishable and MUST work on Shifu which is the fourth book in the saga, time is at a premium. And then of course, there is the Sheriff . . .
