Secrets Revealed

From Rebecca.

The tapping on her window was so faint that if she hadn’t been listening for it Sarina would not have heard it. Although the term ‘listening for it’ in no way captured the anxiety and anticipation with which she had awaited Hugh’s visit. Yet, when he finally did arrive, it was unexpected. The hour had grown so late that she had given him up, retiring for the evening to read a little in an attempt to distract herself. Fortunately, she had just received from Parthenope an exquisite little book about a Masked Ball, which she was enjoying.

Confrontation!

Just before you read the next chapter of the novella, we need to let you know that whilst almost all images have been re-instated, some have been lost.  Including the one that related to the first question of the Scavenger Hunt.  We have therefore introduced a new first question and ask that you go back to the list of questions to check that you have answered it.  Our apologies, but it was beyond our control.  We hope it won’t deter you from entering and completing the hunt.  Goodluck!

Normality?

The Masked Ball venue (Mesmered), with its associated rooms (Masked Ball tab with sub-pages) are looking so

much better since the cleaners have been and tidied most of the damage from the lightning storm that scoured Veniche yesterday.  Portraits and paintings have been re-hung and the Direttore was able to smooth his moustache without his fingers shaking.  For myself, the presence of Ser de Fleury to pass me a wine and massage my aching neck is likely to return my fraught nerves to normal.  By late tonight, our guests will be able to re-commence the Scavenger Hunt and begin to decipher a code which will be offered to them for a superb prize.

Issue update . . .

We would like to inform you that every attempt is being made to rectify the issue and normal scavenging and code-breaking can begin in the next 24 hours.

Privately we think the Others were so enthralled with the images that they enchanted them away to that Other place . . .

MAJOR ISSUE!!!!!

Dear guests,

Many images on Mesmered seem to have disappeared.  We are currently in consultation with WordPress to find out why such random disappearances have happened out of the blue.  We hope to give you an reason and solution ASAP.
