Che piacere di aver ricevuto un invito. Mi scuso per il ritardo terribile nella mia risposta, come mi è stato impantanato in profondità nel box del mio laboratorio e hanno solo ora salito ancora una volta la luce del giorno.
Io sono infatti frequentare, anche se ho il sospetto mi viene da solo. Porterò il mio tesoro Violetta se lei è pronta in tempo.

Finalmente hai risposto! Temevo il tuo laboratorio ti avesse ingoiato.
Sono così contenta che tu e Violetta possiate venire ma devo avvisarti che ci saranno forze incredibilmente pericolose . . . in gioco quella notte. Fai molta attenzione e viene ben armato.
Non posso rivelare di più forse se leggi nelle sfere del tuo laboratorio?
Tu e Violetta mi siete mancati molto da quando vi siete ritirati nella tua villa, sarà bello rivedervi.

At last you have replied! I was in fear that your laboratory had swallowed you.
I am so glad you and Violetta are to come and I must warn you there will be forces at play on the night that may be infinitely dangerous.
Be on your guard and come discretely armed! I cannot say more but perhaps if you read the spheres in your laboratory?
I have missed you and Violetta since you retired to your villa, it will be good to see you again

Carissima Lucia,
My piccolo Violetta continua a lottare, nonostante i problemi con il lei cuore. Mi chiedo ancora se sia una buona idea per il suo per rendere tale un arduo viaggio anche nella mia più confortevole trasporto, ma lei non mi si retta quando mi suggeriti che lei restare. E’stato tanto tempo da quando si è visto chiunque al di fuori della nostra famiglia.
Data la mia recenti passi in avanti, essere in grado di darle qualcosa che renderà il viaggio più facile. Ho trascorso molto tempo alla ricercha gli impulsi elettrici che il controllare il cuore e sospetto che io sono sull’orlo di una epifania scientifica.
Si parla di forze pericolose? Forse dovrei portare un qualche dei miei uomini. Come un condottiero, ho un folto gruppo di uomini in armi, e naturalmente mi mettono la mia spada di Toledo ammenda che sarà al vostro servizio come sempre.
Non vedo l’ora di vedervi.

Which I presume roughly translates, courtesy of my dear Roman correspondent Maria, as:
Dearest Lucia,
My little Violetta goes on striving despite her heart problems.
I still wonder whether it is a good idea for her to undertake this hard journey but she didn’t want to listen to me when I suggested she stay behind.
Thanks to my further steps forward, I’ll be able to give her something to make her journey easier. I’ve spent long searching for electric impulses to take the heart under control and I guess I’m on the brink of a great scientific discovery.
Did you say something about dangerous forces at play? Maybe I should bring some of my men. As a Visconte, I have a big group of armed men and of course my Toledo sword will be at your service as usual,
